Based in Waxahachie, Texas, Rebecca Attebery, MMSc, PA-C, is a board-certified Physician Assistant with focused experience in emergency medicine. She completed her Master of Medical Science at Mercer University’s Physician Assistant Program in 2022, where she served as New Student Chair for the Godsey Matthews Society and presented her capstone research on Familial Hypercholesterolemia at the 2022 Atlanta Research Conference.
Rebecca began her clinical career at Ben Taub Hospital in Houston, Texas, where she completed an Emergency Medicine Fellowship under the supervision of Baylor College of Medicine attendings. During her fellowship and subsequent PA role, she gained extensive experience in high- and low-acuity emergency care, point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS), orthopedic and pediatric emergencies, and procedural skills including laceration repair, splinting, reductions, and lumbar punctures.
A Summa Cum Laude graduate from Kennesaw State University with a B.S. in Biology, Rebecca was recognized as a 2015 Birla Carbon Scholar for Undergraduate Research. She maintains active certifications in BLS, ACLS, and ATLS, along with Texas and Georgia PA licenses and DEA certification.
